Ma Chengyong, male, Han ethnicity, born in Shanghai in 1954. Inspir Master Shen Yinmo from a young age; later specialized in the styles of the Two Wangs, Liu, Ouyang, Yan, and Zhao, as well as seal carving nd painting. Enlisted in the army in 1972, where he was awarded a Third-Class Merit and joined the Party. Teacher Ma Chengyong has long been engaged in calligraphy traininducating and cultivating generations of students, making significant contributions to the inheritance of calligraphy art.
His works have won awards in dozens of national calligraphy competitions since 199published in the 2013 "Collection of Works by Registered Teachers of the China Calligraphers Association"; featured in the 6th issue of "Calligraphy and Paintinh"; selected for "Selected Chinese Seal Script", "Selected Chinese Regular Script", and "Selected Chinese Running Script"; awarded the "Outstanding Calligraphy Creation Award" in the Chinese National ge Selection Activity; commemorative stamps, phone cards, and postcards featuring his calligraphy were issued to celebrate the 65th Anniversary of the Founding of the People'slic of China; in the Year of the Sheep 2015, China Post issued commemorative postcards featuring his calligraphy; in 2015, he wased the title of "Most Collectible Calligrapher and Painter in Contemporary China" by the China International Artists Association; he won the Silver Award in the 2015 Domestiand Overseas Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Masterpieces Competition; in the Year of the Monkey 2016, China Post issued commemorative postcards featuring his calliraphy; in 2017, he was named "Most Distinctive Calligrapher and Painter in Contemporary China" at the 17th China Century Grand Style Summary and Commendationference and the CCTV Annual Figure Gala; in 2018, he was published by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles in "Representative Figures of Chinese Caland Painting Inheritance - Tribute to Classics"; in 2019, his calligraphy work "Houdezaiwu" (Virtue Supports All Things) wcollected by the National Museum of China; in 2021, commemorative stamps were issued to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communrty of China; his works were included in the "2020 World Chinese Art Masters Collection Yearbook" published by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, ses a "Special Invited Editor"; in 2021, "Ma Chengyong: A Model Figure in the Chinese Art World" was published by the Art Archive Press; in 2021, he was awarded the "Lifetime Achievement Award in Chinese Calligraphy" by the National Artist Information Publicity Center; in 2022, he wappointed as a "Visiting Professor" of the CCTV Decision China Expert Think Tank; in 2022, he was awarded by the Publicity Department of the CPC Centr
